As the Senior Manager of Video Development at Nikon Inc., Mr. Storch led the formation of an industry partnership with Vimeo and RED Digital Cinema to launch a new short film grant for emerging filmmakers. He worked with leaders at the two companies to build and promote the grant, including at industry events like NAB.
The winners of the Vimeo Short Film Grant received a $30,000 budget and industry mentorship from award-winning directors and cinematographers, as well as access to Nikon and RED equipment to produce new works.
